Does it apply to jobs without asking me?
No. The engine finds postings and drafts each application, but everything lands in your queue marked 'Ready to review.' Applications are only submitted after you approve them — individually or in bulk.
How does it apply — is my JobStreet password safe?
We never store your JobStreet password. Applications happen inside your own browser through our extension — your login, your session, your IP. For sources that do require credentials, they're encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and never stored in plain text.
Where do the answers come from?
From your own profile and uploaded résumé. The AI tailors screening answers, cover letters, ATS résumé optimization, and mock-interview questions using your real experience — it never invents skills or history you don't have.
What are AI credits?
AI features (cover letters, match score, ATS résumé optimization, interview prep, and full mock interviews with the AI Interviewer) draw from a monthly credit pool. Free includes 5 credits/month; Pro includes 500. One complex operation — like a full mock interview — is about 1 credit, and lighter tasks cost a fraction. Credits reset each month.

What happens when an application fails?
The apply queue shows the exact reason, such as 'No Apply button found on the job page.' Failed and external-apply jobs stay tracked so you can revisit or apply to them manually.
